Tom is a professional baseball player. His team has him bouncing from city to city all across the country. Wherever the next game is, that's where he's scheduled.

"I love my job, but it's tough staying in touch with my family and friends. I travel most of the week during the season going to different cities, airports, and hotels, but things are much better since I got my Universal Office." says Tom.

Tom can be in any city around the country where his team has a game. He knows that with his Universal Office, his wife, his five year old son, his parents and friends will always be able to get in touch with him. Its easy for them, they have just one phone number to remember!

All Tom had to do was give them his Universal Office Genie Number. Now when people call Tom at his Genie Number back in Cleveland, his calls will follow him to his hotel room, cell phone, or voice mail if he happens to be at the park practicing.

"Genie answers all my calls and screens them for me. I can take the call if I want, or Genie can take a message. I get all my messages from any touch tone phone, and I can have a conference call with my family with the Universal Office Virtual Conference Room!" says Tom.

"Being on the road is tough in other ways, like making sure the money I make is where it belongs when it belongs there. If my wife has the money and I need it, that's no good, and if I have the money and she needs it, that's even worse. Now we use our GenieCards to move money as we need it. The team deposits my paycheck to my GenieCard account, and then I send most of it over to Gloria's card so she can take card of the house and the kid. I keep some for myself. But if I plan wrong and need more, it's really easy for Gloria to send me back what I need. There's no trying to find the closest Western Union or anything like that."

Tom’s coach also uses the Universal Office. Almost every day he sends a message with important information to the entire team, simply records the message once and forwards the message to Team PhoneBook, Genie then delivers a copy of his message to everyone, it only takes a couple of minutes.

Tom also uses his PhoneBook to let his family, friends and personal fans know how the game went, in his own voice, and it only takes a minute.

“Hey this is cool, maybe I can get all my fans to get a Genie of their own so that I can give them updates on my actions and even make some extra money on these referrals” says Tom.

Wait a minute; Tom's pager just went off. Looks like Universal Office just accepted a fax for him; it’s from his real estate broker. Looks like Tom just got the acceptance for that real estate proposal to purchase a new house he and his wife made before getting on the road!
