If you previously were not able to get a Genie Number local to you in Northern California this message is to let you know that we’ve expanded our local service by adding 80 new telephone prefixes to our already vast Northern California footprint. Now you can get a Genie Number that is local to you at no additional cost.

From Santa Cruz to Eureka, from San Mateo to Santa Rosa, From San Francisco to Sacramento, Effective April 14, 2003 EasyTel’s coverage has increased to over 120 telephone prefixes spanning nine area codes providing local Genie service in approximately four hundred cities and communities in Northern California.  With these new prefixes, you’ll be able to save even more on your communication needs.  Just take a quick look at the list below to see all the places where you can get local service.

At this time, I am inviting you to switch your more expensive number to a new much less expensive local number, free of charge.

When you switch to one of these new numbers, long distance calls to anywhere in the United States and your Follow-Me service will be as low as two cents per minute; services not previously available to our Bay Area subscribers.

But don’t worry, there is no charge to switch numbers and your old number will continue working until June first. Until then, I’ll even tell callers to your old number about your new number before putting them through.

And that’s not all. Along with these new numbers, we are expanding the calling area for conference calls.  With this new service, you’ll be able to conference with people throughout California without long distance charges.
